God Is Light

Here are some clear statements given in the Bible ? the Word of God:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1).

The fool says in his heart, ?There is no God? (Psa. 14:1)

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us ? (1 Jn. 4:12).

Belief in God is by faith for ?without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists? (Heb. 11:6). We cannot see God for He is Spirit but when we see His creation we can by faith know that He exists. Only the fool (a morally corrupt person) prefers to say ?There is no God? for he has BIG problems if the God of the Bible exist.

?God is light? and He chose to make the way clear for us to walk in. He gave us His Word, the Bible, so that His light will direct our way to Him. It is His desire that we seek and find Him. The Creator of the Universe and of the earth we live in knows that He cannot be seen by His creation. However, because of sin that came into the world due to the fall of Man, He had to do something miraculous to restore the fellowship He desires with His creation. He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ into the world so that people can see Him in bodily form and to believe in Him. As the Bible says so simply: ?For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life? (Jn. 3:16). The unseen ?God is Light? wants people to have faith in Him so that they will have eternal life and the joy of close fellowship with Him. Only by faith can we please God.

When we have fellowship with God it is a fellowship with ?God is Light?. There is no deception or playing games with Him. He knows our intentions and desires and we do not have to put on a false front with Him. We come to Him simply as His devoted and dependant children to enjoy this wonderful fellowship with Him. We worship Him in spirit and in truth for such are the only worshippers He wants and seeks. ?Our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ? and we know that our joy in Him will be complete.
